BIO
Anne Butler received her BA from the University of Michigan. Her love of photography and desire to learn more about it took her to the East coast where she completed a course of study at the New England School of Photography in Boston. She worked with several commercial and wedding photographers there and in Austin before starting her own business in 1994.

Anne's wedding photography, done both in black and white and in color, combines portraiture with candids and documentary narrative. Sensitive to the demands of the event, she works closely with the bride, groom and their families (both well before and especially on the day) to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. As a result, her images present an unforced and genuine "story of the day."

In addition to engagement and bridal portraits, Anne specializes in making portraits of individuals, children and groups of all kinds.
